To all of you…

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank each and every one of you for the thoughts, prayers, phone calls, texts, emails, letters and cards of condolence that we received. The outpouring of love and support highlighted the immense impact my father had on the world and the respect that he commanded. For his 80th and final birthday he was blessed with over 200 cards. Over the course of 2 days my mother read EVERY card to him.

As of today, you have helped us honor his final wishes by raising well over $3000 for Safe Haven battered women’s shelter. And the donations keep coming in! THANK YOU!

As the dust settles, and we return to daily business of living, let us not forget the principles that made my father who he was. And they are the same principles that live on in each and every one of us. Love God. Love others. And don’t just survive but THRIVE! And rememeber… Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
